Occ Trash Fairies: Empowering Communities
Demonstration Gardens
We build demonstration gardens in spaces to help people understand how long it takes for litter and trash to break down in the environment.
Our first "build" was in Vermijo Park for Earth Day 2026 and we had a bunch of community members come out to help.
Ute Pass Elementary also helped us out a ton by providing the litter they collected and the tombstones for everything.
Really cool concept that we would love to get around more places.
